Today I had a pretty good day with my nephew. I really don’t know what else to write because it was too hot again. So I think I am going to go hop in the shower then veg. so this is Matt in the hat and I am out of here. Sorry for the short blog

Day 197 – Fun day with Ant

Today was a pretty good day. My nephew, Anthony, came over and his dad was doing some other things so Danielle, her mom and I had to keep him busy. Before he came I went to the bank, DMV, got gas and got my hair cut. I did all of that in two hours which was pretty good. I think why I got all that done so fast because I left the house a little bit after 8 am this morning. After I got home the family went out to go shopping for some toys for him. The reason is because his birthday is next week and we won’t be able to see him so we want him to pick out what he wanted. He picked out some PJs he wanted. I am shocked that he wanted some clothes most kids want toys. However we did go to Toys R Us and he picked out some. He was really close to me today. I think because I am the only male and he feels close to me. He was so cute he even asked if I am a daddy too. I told him no but I am his uncle. Well I am going to relax now so this is Matt in the hat and I am out of here.

Day 184 – Happy fourth of July

Well today is the fourth of July in the USA. I am so glad living in the USA. I never lived anywhere else beside the USA. There are so many reasons why I love living here. One if the reason is to vote. I think it’s an honor to pick who we want to run the USA. Well I don’t have much to say once again because I am beat. So this is Matt in the hat and I am out of here.

Day 176 – Playing with Anthony

Today my nephew came over. His name is Anthony if you didn’t know that already. He is going to be four on July 30^th. He is so smart and listens very well. Tonight his dad went out so it was Anthony, Danielle, Danielle’s mom and I. We had dinner and after that he wanted to play around. So since I am the only guy here he wants to “fight”. So we had some fun doing it on our bed. I was picking him up and put him down. The good thing is no one got hurt. Then I asked him how old is he. He told me he is 3 going on 4. Danielle asked him how old she is and he said 70. So I asked him how old I am and he told me I was 8. That was very cute of him saying that I am much younger then Danielle. Well I need to get to bed I have to wake up early. So this is Matt in the hat and I am out of here.

Day 173 – I don’t live in a cardboard box

Today at work I had a call that I would never thought I would get. I will tell you the background of the patient and go from there. A patient was seen in the hospital and was seen by one of our doctors. The cost of all the services was about $1,200.00. So the patient’s husband called up who wasn’t on her account. He wanted to know if we will do any adjustments on the account. The patient’s insurance we don’t have an agreement with. They have to pay us in full however he still wanted a discount. So with that being said he received a check from his insurance for $800.00. He wants to know if we take that as payment in full. So after a few calls he agrees to send the check to me. So we posted the check on her account and per the information from his insurance he is still own us $400.00. I sent her a letter and explain that we must follow her insurance company. Well the patient received my letter and guess not happy. The husband wanted to talk to me. So I talked to him today on the phone. He went going on and on about the balance due. He told me that he send us $800.00. I did explain that’s what he received from his insurance company. That money didn’t come from him but the insurance company. So he stated to me that he can’t pay for the balance due. I offer him a payment plan and he didn’t want that. I offer him a financial hardship and he told me that he got money but can’t pay this bill. He even told me that he doesn’t live in a cardboard box. I almost died from hearing that but I didn’t. Well that was the best part of my day even thou he was a pain to me but it helped me out how to hander calls like his. Well I am going to get going so this is Matt in the hat and I am out of here.

Day 169 – One more day for mother

Well today is going to be my mother in law’s last day in the hospital. She should be coming home Sunday. I been so busy going to the hospital I just can’t believe father’s day is Sunday. It just seems like a week ago it was mother’s day. Well I don’t have much to say because I had been so tired with doing things at home and at the hospital so this is Matt in the hat and I am out of here.

Day 168 – Heart

Today my mother in law went for surgery for her heart. Everything went good and she may go home Saturday. I have to say that no doctor help her thou this. It was God. Some people may not believe in God but I sure do. There were many times that I prayed and he answers my prayer. I am so so tried I can’t even keep my eyes open so I am going to bed so this is Matt in the hat and I am out of here.

Day 156 – Sunday Lunch

This morning Danielle and I got up to go to church. So far we love the new church we tried out. The pastor, his wife and kids took us out for a nice lunch. We had such a great time to get to know each other. I still think it’s really odd that he was a pastor at a church that the pastor who married us was too. We talked about different pastors who we both know and about summer camp. Well I am pretty beat right now so I think I am going to head to bed. So this is Matt in the hat and I am out of here.

Day 142 – I am just happy

Most people don’t know that I grew up in church. After moving away from my church back in IL I was unable to find a church that I will enjoy. I used to teach and do a lot at the church. This morning while on facebook I saw a comment from a guy on the pastor who married Danielle and I back in IL. So I looked him up and found out that he was a pastor back in IL. Now he is a pastor about an hour away from us now. I think I found the church that could be the one. I emailed that pastor and he told me that he can’t wait to see me next Sunday. Well this is the reason why I am so happy so this is Matt in the hat and I am out of here.
