Day 061 – I paid for it but don’t know how

Today at work I had some crazy calls. One call I had was a 85 year old lady told me that she paid her husband’s bill. I asked her when she paid it she told me she don’t know. I asked how she paid it she told me with a check. I asked her for a check and she don’t know the check number. So I tried to explain to her I would need something to look it up for her then just she paid it. She told me she gets upset when she gets bills because they are on a fix income. I told her I understand but I just can’t take your word. Then she got upset and hanged up. I would like to know if I did something wrong? I don’t think I did anything wrong but sometimes they want the patient to be happy but this one I can’t make her happy if she is not willing to help us. Anyway I am going to watch some tv so this is Matt in the hat and I am out of here.
