Just sign it, it’s ok if you can’t see

It’s Thursday!! One more day till the weekend I just can’t wait. Today at work wasn’t too bad which Thursdays are not that bad. Yesterday I took a call from an 85 year old lady. She told me that she came into the doctors for an exam. She told me that we need to change the billing code so Medicare would pay for it. We already review the doctor’s note and it was correct. I told her that she signed a form that we will know that Medicare won’t cover the charge. She told me that she didn’t read the form I told her how important it is and she told me that she is 85 and one bad eye; also she told me that she told her grandchildren not to sign anything till reading. So my question is why in the world you didn’t read it or ask about it. So my medical and billing part of this blog is if the doctor’s office told you to sign something please read the form you are sign. For that note for anything you may have to sign.  Well don’t know what else to blog about so this is Matt in the hat and I am out of here. it
